SIDE EVENT winners
Last night, two players won respective side events. Tetsuya Enoki won the NLH Single Day 2 and Tang Kok Wei won the Deep Stack Hyper Turbo 1. Here’s a brief recap on the closing action.
Tetsuya Enoki wins the NLH Single Day 2
While the main was slowly expanding to take over a majority of the tables, the NLH Single Day 2 event downsized fast that in just five hours, the 101 entries dropped to the bubble round of 18 players. After just four hands, the money was reached with Wanchana Valaikarok knocking out a player with A♥ Q♣ winning over K♥ 2♥ on a board of 6♦ Q♥ 8♦ 7♥ 3♠.
With the money flowing, the official final table was quickly reached.
The event wrapped up with Tetsuya Enoki defeating Dhanesh Chainani at heads up. The final hand was A♣ 8♥ over A♠ 7♥ with the board running 3♣ 10♦ 8♠ K♥ Q♣. Enoki captured the APT trophy and the VND 149,640,000 first place cash.
