In what is turning out to be a battle of pure will, three players are still in contention for the APT-RWM Iron Man Poker Challenge title here Level 2 Premier Club of Resorts World Manila.
The one-of-a-kind tournament and the first of its kind Asia will establish a new mark for the Guinness World Records “Longest Continuous Poker Tournament”. No official numbers are in yet as the tournament is still on-going 4:05 p.m. Manila time despite the fact the record was already broken over eight hours ago.
The previous record was set at of 36 hours, 34 minutes and 41 seconds in a poker tournament in Delaware, U.S.A. in August of 2012.
The tournament with a buy-in of $700 originally had 115 runners. Here are the names and estimated chip counts of the remaining contenders:

Sandro Simon (Germany) – 3.25M
Choi Byung Kyoo (Korea) – 3.85M
