Today is your last chance to get into the Main Event! Starting at 1pm, the Asian Poker Tour will hold its final Day one flight to the APT Poker Weekend Series Manila 2016 Main Event at the APT Poker Room in the Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel & Casino. Buy-in is PhP27,500.
At yesterday’s flight, there were 77 total entries with 24 of them availing of the Main Event Bubble Protection. For those unaware of this fantastic incentive, the Bubble Protection protects you from going home empty-handed if you bubble at the Main Event, instead you will be awarded a generous consolation prize of one free seat to the next Main Event of the same value. In order to qualify for Bubble Protection, here are a few simple steps that must be completed:
- Pre-register to the Main Event
- Draw for your seat before starting time of 1pm
- Have your chips put into play on the first deal of round number 1
In regards to the mechanics, players who qualify for Bubble Protection will maintain that status on a same day re-entry. Players wanting Bubble Protection on a next day re-entry will have to repeat the steps to qualify.
For those wanting to read up on some of the action happening at Day 1b, we will have live updates for you posted in the Live Reporting section of the website.
In addition to the Main Event there will be two side events running as well. The No Limit Holdem 2 kicks off at 2pm. This event has an entry fee of PhP22,000. At 6pm we will have the WeLoveSport Deep Stack Turbo with an entry fee of PhP5,500.
