Bryan Huang Takes Down the Mix Game; High Rollers Ends the Day with 11 Players

Bryan Huang of Singapore bested a field of 69 players in the Mix Game PLH/PLO event after eliminating JR Villanueva with a straight during the heads up round. Huang earned himself a sweet first prize of P185,000 and his second APT title for the year. With that win, Huang will surely be climbing up the APT POY 2014 ladder.

The High Rollers event started the day with 38 players but at the close of the day, 11 players remained. Play will resume tomorrow at 2pm with everyone gunning for a piece of the hefty P3,686,000 prize pool. Leading the pack is Ronald Chun Long Yu with 151,000 chips followed closely behind by Inaki Santos with 137,000 chips.

For tomorrow, two events are slated for the day, the highly popular Head Hunter Event at 1pm followed by the Ladies of Poker Event at 3pm. There will also be another Main Event Mega Satellite at 6pm, and upon demand, the “One Time” satellites will be ongoing for those interested in banking on their luck for a seat to the Main Event.
