Asian Poker Tour Sets Record in Sydney


It is confirmed… The Asian Poker Tour’s first event “down under” has set a record for the largest field of players in for a tournament held in Sydney, Australia!

The four-day event, it partnership with the National Poker League, attracted a total 649 runners for a prize pool of AUD 1,168,200. First place will receive the lion’s share of AUD 282,212.

Joe Hachem and Jeff Lisandro are just a few of the many familiar names making their appearance on the felt.

The Asian Poker Tour Sydney is schedule to run until Sunday, December 8th at the Star in Sydney Australia. The APT looks to set another record with the upcoming APT-RWM Iron Man Poker Challenge at Resorts World Manila from December 11-15.
