The Asian Poker Tour has announced it will be returning to Resorts World Manila for an event called the APT-RWM Finale 2014. This will be the first time the APT will become part of RWM’s traditional Year-End festivities.

The 8-day poker event will be structured along the lines of the Tour’s very popular ‘Asian Series’ and will be held from December 3-10, 2014 (subject to PAGCOR approval).

Making the announcement Mr. Hakan Dagtas, Chief Gaming Operations Officer, said that he was delighted that APT would be returning to RWM once again in 2014. “APT has staged 10 very successful events at RWM to date and as we have always previously had our own poker activities as part of our tradition Year-End Christmas Festival we felt that this year it should be staged in partnership with APT.”

This will be the last opportunity for players to accrue points for the APT Player of the Year 2014 leaderboard. APT’s Champion player – APT Player of the Year will be crowned at APT-RWM Finale 2014.

The Asian Poker Tour has also announced APT Prague! The Tour takes its first step into Europe with a 3-day event set for December 16-18, 2014, and which will be part of a 15-day poker festival hosted in Prague, Czech Republic. This festival will feature a variety of poker events hosted by different poker organizers.

“We were delighted to be invited to be an integral part of this festival event as one of APT’s key objectives for 2015 is to ensure that the APT brand is as well known in Europe as it is in Asia.” APT Tournament Director Lloyd Fontillas added, “At this time it looks like APT will have the honor of closing out this planned festival of poker. We will be holding a Main Event with an 1100 Euro buy-in plus 4 supporting side events.”

Points awarded at APT Prague will be applied to next year’s APT POY leaderboard.

“It’s very exciting: APT Prague will act as a Christmas jumpstart to APT POY 2015,” concluded Fontillas.
