APT Title Up for Grabs Today: 8 Players Battle for Bragging Rights of APT Philippines 2014

Eight players from eight countries return to the Resorts World Manila on Wednesday to slug it out for the APT Philippines 2014 Main Event title at the Resorts World Manila.

Singapore’s Feng Zhao is the chip leader entering the final day of poker festivities of this APT stop and will bring his massive stack of 1,411,000 and try to bully his way to the championship.

The other contenders in the eight-handed final table are Jia Jie Liang (China) with 795,000; Inaki Santos (Spain) with 424,000; Mikal Blomlie (Norway) with 423,000; Mike Fawaz (Lebanon) with 335,000; Michael Marvanek (Australia) with 273,000; Hyeong Wook Choi (Korea) with 266,000; and Huy Pham (Vietnam) with 230,000.

Meanwhile, Bulat Mumbarakzyanov bagged the Heads-Up event title for $7,960 while Richard Marquez ruled the Deep Stack event for $6,350 in the pair of side events on Tuesday.
