APT Taichung Championships and APT x TMT Season 9 Special Events Winners

Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Club in Taichung hosted its first-ever APT Championships Event last October 16 to 18. Day 1A gathered a total of 68 entries. Eight players qualified to Day 2 with Taiwan’s Lu Ming Xin as chip leader.

A total of 153 entries and a prize pool of NT$ 839,200. Taiwan’s Chih-Kai Chen emerged as the first-ever APT Taichung Championships victor. He received an APT Championships trophy and NT$ 196,000 first place cash.

 

Winners of APT Special Events During the APT x TMT Season 9

The Asian Poker Tour hosted five (5) APT Special Events during the APT x TMT Season 9. Welcoming the series is the APT Natural8 Open Super High Roller 6 Max with a buy in of NT$ 58,800 and other four CTP Events.

After a rollercoaster of poker action at Day 1, 16 players qualified to Day 2 of the APT Natural8 Open Super High Roller 6 Max with Taiwan’s Kun Han Lee as chip leader.

Chan Lok Ming

After hours of grueling action in the final table, Hong Kong’s Chan Lok Ming claimed the title as the APT Natural8 Open Super High Roller 6 Max champion. He won an APT Championships trophy, APT luxury watch and NT$ 746,800 first place cash.

Huge number of players entered at Day 6 of the APT x TMT Season 9.The first APT Special Event, APT No Limit Hold’em attracted a total of 86 entries.

After 10 hours of nonstop poker action, Taiwan’s Tai Hsing Hsiung claimed the title as the APT No Limit Hold’em Champion. He received an APT trophy and NT$ 83,000 cash prize.
