The Asian Poker Tour (APT) has also announced another event at Resorts World Manila (RWM) for 2016, the Asian Poker Tour Philippines ll – a nine-day poker festival to be staged from July 19-27, 2016. The announcement comes from Jeff Mann, CEO of the Asian Poker Tour, just one month after the highly attended APT Philippines I in April,
“All of the 16 APT events held to date at the Resorts World Manila were very successful and very well received by players from around the world. After APT Philippines I broke new records for the tour, and given the popularity of the events held at RWM, it was decided that an additional event for July would be welcomed and well supported by our players.”
Over the past seven years, the APT has scheduled a minimum of two stops per year at RWM, traditionally held in the months of April and in September. With the signing of another two-year agreement, which began in April of this year, the APT will continue to hold events at RWM on those months until the end of 2017.
Mann further added, “We will still stage our popular Asian Series event in September as scheduled.”
The full schedule for July’s APT Philippines ll will be announced soon and it will entail at least 18 separate poker events staged over nine days with various buy-in levels.
