Anticipation is building up as the Asian Poker Tour’s return to Macau kicks off on July 25th at the StarWorld Hotel. As always, the APT will surely attract players from all over including some of the world’s most decorated. This seven-day event, running from July 25th to the 31st, will be held at the extravagant StarWorld Hotel’s Ballroom located on the 8th Level.
The event opens up with the Heads Up Asian Championship which is limited to 64 players. Also added to the schedule are two Step Satellites to the HK$ 100,000 PokerAce High Rollers Event on July 26. The HK$ 25,000 Main Event starts on July 27 with Day 1A with Day 1B the following day and satellites running daily. After a new champion is crowned amidst the gleaming lights of Macau, the APT will move on to a new event in its schedule – APT Asian Series Mauritius 2012. To be staged from the 19th-26th of August at the Ti Vegas Casino, Grand Bay, Mauritius, the week long poker festival will feature a Main Event buy-in of EUR 900 with eight side events, including a ladies event, with buy-ins ranging from EUR 110 – EUR 440 as well a high rollers event with a buy-in of EUR 2200. In addition, there will be an invitational ‘Battle of the Nations’ team event for EUR 3,300 per team.
