Today marked the Asian Poker Tour’s return to the island of Jeju for APT Korea 2017, in partnership with the Poker King Club, J&P Inc. and the host venue Paradise Casino. The seven-day poker festival will run until March 28th featuring a KRW 1,650,000 Main Event along with 13 Side Events.
The action on the felt opened up with familiar faces in the Warm Up Event. Leading the contingent from Japan is Tetsuya Tsuchikawa along with APT Kickoff 2017 Player of the Series Yoichi Uesugi, current APT Player of the Year Iori Yogo and Japanese superstar Gackt. Also in the field were Regional APT POY China Hung Sheng Lin and the first-ever APT Main Event champion in Korea – Ryan Yu.
