The opening day of the APT Asian Series Jejusaw a lot of familiar faces from the Asian poker scene make their way to the Asian Poker Tour’s inaugural event in Korea. The first event saw Casey Kastle, Raiden Kan, Sparrow Cheung and the Poker King Club’s AJ Brock in the field of players. But it was Japan’s Tetsuya Tsuchikawa who would eventually take home the trophy. While Michael Marvanek and Winfred Yu have also been spotted around the casino.
Later in the day, the Add On for Charity Event attracted 28 entries with each player making the US$ 50 Add On. The tournament would be dominated by the Japanese as top four places went to champion Ryuta Ikezawa, Tetusya Tsuchikawa, Takuo Serita and Noriaki Edamatsu respectively. All Add Ons from this event will be donated to the Incorporated Association Bank Nyun Hwai which endeavors to provide medical and other needs to the elderly.
The APT Asian Series Jeju continues with the PokerAce High Rollers, Freezeout 1 and Main Event Satellites. It is scheduled to run from February 27th to March 6th at the Royal Palace Casino located within the Jeju Oriental Hotel. Check out the complete Event Details.
