The Asian Poker Tour opened its second day of the APT Mystery Bounty Weekend with the spotlight on the MAIN EVENT 3M guaranteed. The first two flights attracted a combined 117 entries. 31 advanced to the final day led by Korea’s Go Tai Young who topped Day 1A with an overwhelming 238,000 stack, equivalent to 79 big blinds. His biggest pot was undoubtedly the 10♦ 7♦ straight flush that crushed a player’s A♦ K♦ nut flush on a board 10♥ Q♠ 8♦ 9♦ 6♦. Both players were all in on the river.
Also advancing was APT decorated Main Event champion Iori Yogo with 59,000. Over at Flight B, Singapore’s Kevin Lim Choon Kwang topped the heat with 159,000 in chips. All the qualifiers have a day break before returning to action on Sunday, March 6. Among the day’s fallen champions were Mike Takayama, John Paredes, and Jovan Huerto. Lucky for them, there’s still time to secure a final day seat.
