HomeAPT Taiwan 2020 opener Monster Stack event, sponsored by the Korean Mind Game Members (KMGM), had an expected light turnout as Koreans were part of the travel ban imposed by the country. The two flights drew a combined 55 entries – 38 for Flight A, 17 for Flight B – with only 11 players left at bagging time. With the event paying out the top 10 players, the game will resume the final day at bubble time.
Collecting the largest pile of the day was Flight A leader Chan Lok Mong with 267,000. He is in fine shape to take it to the limit with 68 bbs to start the final day with. Blinds open at 2k-4k ante 4k. Chips in play is 1,650,000, average stack is 150,000. Game resumes at 1pm on Thursday, March 5.

At Flight B, Chen Shoo Dien closed with the largest stack after winning three-way shove. Dien had Q♦ Q♥, Pete Chen with 10♥ 10♠, and the third player with 3♦ 3♥. The board ran dry for Dien’s queens to hold. Four players advanced to the final day from this flight.
