Hwang Sang Yeon tops 38 survivors of Main Event Day 1B; earns overall chip lead

Another Main Event starting day in the books at APT Taiwan 2019! Day 1B drew more players than the first flight with 78 runners at the tables of host venue Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association aka CTP Club. After the scheduled 9 rounds of play, only 38 survived. Hong Kong’s Hwang Sang Yeon amassed the largest stack of 116,500 which was enough to slide into top rank of the combined Day 2 qualifiers.
