Main Event last starting day at 1pm; Linh Hoai Duong and Christopher Mateo win event trophies

Two starting days in the bag, we now head to MAIN EVENT Day 1C! This is the last starting day to enter. Make sure to get your chips in play on the first deal of the day to be eligible for Bubble Protection. Players can also register for the Dafabet APT Survivor promo. By simply wearing the Dafabet patch throughout the Main Event, participating players have a chance to win a Main Event seat to APT Korea Incheon.

Linh Hoai Duong wins the Pot Limit Omaha Hi Single Day

Canada picked up its first trophy of the series with Linh Hoai Duong awarded the win at the Pot Limit Omaha Hi Single Day event.  At heads up against Philippine player Eugene Co, both were even in chips and opted to play a one hand flip for the trophy. Duong won it. In addition to the title, he pocketed VND 83,900,000 while Co took VND 83,000,000. The event drew 47 runners at VND 9,900,000 each for a prize pool of VND 319,130,000 (~USD 13,500).

Christopher Mateo wins the Deep Stack Turbo #1

The first fast-paced tournament – the Deep Stack Turbo #1 – drew 85 runners. At VND 6,600,000 each, the prize pool came to worthy VND 494,700,000 (~USD 21,000). Instead of the top 15 earning a piece, 16 players got a cut with the bottom two sharing the 15th place payout due to a double knockout on the bubble round. 

On the opposite end of the cash was Philippine pro Christopher Mateo. He shipped the VND 132,210,000 (~USD 5,700) first prize and another APT trophy to add to his collection.
