As it stands, the APT Taiwan 2019 featured event drew a thunderous 449 entries over the course of the three starting days at CTP Club (Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association). That number will grow with registration open for one more hour today, to close at the start of Level 10. Buy-in is TWD 33,000. The advertised TWD 5M guarantee is all but a far memory with the prize pool currently in the ballpark of TWD 13 Million. We will have the official prize pool posted once registration closes.

Out of the 449 total entries, 246 advanced to today’s round. Holding the torch with the largest stack is Korean pro Lim Yohwan aka Boxer with 148,000. In second position is Day 1B chip leader USA’s Manh Nguyen with 138,000, and rounding out the top three is China’s Chen Dong with 134,700.

Sebastian Wong wins the NLH Single Day
Last night, Sebastian Wong overcame a field of 136 runners at the NLH Single Day event to capture the APT Golden Lion trophy and the TWD 221,900 first place money. The event saw a buy-in of TWD 7,700 for a prize pool of TWD 923,400. 23 players earned a piece of the pie.
