Here are the most recent APT Finale Philippines 2018 side event winners:
Bobby Zhang wins the High Rollers
The High Rollers event attracted 58 runners each one coughing up the PHP 107,500 entry fee for a prizepool of PHP 5,626,000. Out of that pot, 10 players earned a share. Bobby Zhang and Ying Lin Chua agreed on a deal at heads up then played for the trophy plus PHP 100K. Zhang emerged victorious to claim his first APT High Rollers title. He earned a total PHP 1,382,800. Chua pocketed PHP 1,350,000.
Kosei Ichinose wins the Short Deck High Rollers
Another high rollers event was won, this one was a Short Deck event. After falling in 6th place at the Main Event, Kosei Ichinose jumped in and took it to the finish line. He defeated Seongsu Kong at heads up. A deal was also struck for this event. Ichinose claimed PHP 789,200 and Kong PHP 530,000.
*There were 16 runners for this event for a pot of PHP 1,552,000 with buyin at PHP 107,500. Julian Hasse finished 3rd for PHP 232,800.
Joshua Chargualaf wins the NLH Short Clock
Guam’s Joshua Chargualaf overcame a field of 75 entries at the NLH Shot Clock event. He defeated Gordon Wong at heads up to ship in the lion’s share PHP 397,000 first prize. Buyin for this event was PHP 22,000 for a prizepool of PHP1,455,000.
James Mendoza wins the NLH Single Day event
The NLH Single Day event drew out 114 to the tables. This generated a prizepool worth PHP 1,658,700 with 19 players earning a cut. Claiming the largest of PHP 410,600 was Philippine player James Mendoza. He defeated China’s Chao Yin at heads up.
