Nonstop poker continues at Resorts World Manila with the APT Philippines Championships 2018 II in full swing since September 13. As of today, We have passed the halfway mark with the series concluding on September 24. The past six days we’ve seen players walk away rich and triumphant and today we will see more under the spotlight with trophies due to be awarded and the crowning of the next APT MAIN EVENT champion.

*This will be the first time the APT introduces a shot clock to our events. See rules below:
Shot Clock rules:
- The Shot Clock will be introduced after the close of registration.
- Once the Shot Clock has been introduced each remaining player will receive three (3) sixty (60) second Time Bank chips.
- Once a player hesitates for 3 seconds, the Shot Clock will begin with an initial thirty (30) second count down.
- Once a player exhausts the initial thirty (30) second count down, that player will immediately owe a Time Bank chip and will owe another one after sixty (60) seconds expires.
- Remaining eight (8) players will receive two (2) additional Time Bank chips.
- The Shot Clock will be paused if a player that has been put on the Shot Clock requests for a count of a bet that has multiple chips or multiple denominations or stacks.
- A player’s hand will be killed immediately after the time on the Shot Clock has expired and the player is out of Time Bank chips.

Running alongside are two events on their final day, the Pot Limit Omaha Hi at 1pm with 8 players remaining, and the CoinPoker High Rollers at 3pm with 10 players remaining.

MAIN EVENT FINAL 8
The MAIN EVENT returns with the Final 8 players on the hunt for the coveted championship title. The event began four days ago bringing in a total of 306 entries for a prize pool of PHP14,841,000. The eventual winner will ship in the PHP2,849,600 first prize and the APT Championship Ring.

All eyes will be on him today as he attempts to achieve a back-to-back and join an exclusive group of players with two titles: Henrik Tollefsen, Jeon Seung Soo, Mike Takayama, Samad Razavi, Iori Yogo, and Sam Nee Aik Chuan.

CHAMPIONSHIPS EVENT – PHP 8 Million guaranteed
Once the Main Event crowns a winner, the CHAMPIONSHIPS EVENT takes off. This second APT featured tournament runs from September 20 to September 24. Buy-in is PHP82,500.
Once again, the APT provides you with the best structure in the region. Players begin with a 50,000 stack. Opening blinds are 100-200, gradually increasing every 60 minutes. Registration closes at the start of Level 10. See schedule below.
