The APT Noumea 2017 continues today with the Final Table of the NLH Welcome Event at the Casinos de Noumea with a total of 89 entries for a prize pool of about XPF 3,500,000.
At the end of the day, it was Mario Lau who was all smiles as he bagged the largest stack of 213,000 in chips. Next to Lau in the chip counts is Eric Grigaux with his stack of 188,000.

As expected, the local poker community was well-represented. There were still some APT regulars in the field like APT Player of the Year 2016 Iori Yogo; current APT POY 2017 standings leader Tetsuya Tsuchikawa along with compatriot Yoichi Uesugi and Australia’s Anthony Hope. Also spotted on the tables was reigning APT Noumea 2016 Main Event Champion Daniel Gilles.
