Day 1B begins at 1pm today!
After several days of buzzing side event action, it is time for the MAIN EVENT of the APT Philippines 2017 II held at the Genting Club in Resorts World Manila.
The APT Main Event is the most prestigious tournament of the Asian Poker Tour and it is the only event where one can win the exclusive APT Championship Ring. Main Event Bubble Protection
At the start of 2016, another Main Event incentive was introduced, the Main Event Bubble Protection. As every player has experienced, the bubble round is the most anxiety-ridden moment of any tournament with short stacks trying to hang on while big stacks try to capitalize.
At the APT Main Event, players that have qualified for the bubble protection will be insured during the bubble round. What that means is, in the event the insured player falls as the unfortunate bubble, then he/she will receive a consolation prize of one free seat to the next APT Main Event of the same value or the equivalent in APT tournament credits. Now who wouldn’t want to avail of that?! Here are three simple steps you must complete in order to qualify for this great incentive:
- Pre-register for the Main Event
- Draw for your seat before the 1pm starting time
- Have your chips put into play on the first deal of Level 1
*Important reminders: Players that qualify for Bubble Protection will maintain the status on a same day re-entry. Players wanting Bubble Protection on a next day re-entry will have to repeat the qualification steps.
