The past two days of the APT Korea Incheon 2017 in Paradise City saw 185 entries turn up for the highlight tournament, the APT Main Event, with only 95 of them earning a spot at today’s race. While the money is still far away, it is always a thrill to get those numbers out for everyone to salivate and drool at what’s up for grabs.
Prize pool: KRW 179,450,000 (USD 157,800 approx)
First place: KRW 44,860,000 (USD 39,400 approx)
First in the money: 27th place KRW 1,970,000
Entering Day 2 with the largest stack is USA’s Jeremy Alan Graves with 322,000 in chips. Although Graves has yet to win a title, he has been seen at the final table a couple of times at the series. His closest challengers however are highly decorated, both of them past APT Main Event champions. Malaysia’s Choong Kian Weng enters in second position with 230,400 and Japan’s Iori Yogo in third rank with a stack of 223,400.
The plan today is to play down to the money. Bubble protection is in effect for those that qualified. Blinds will start at 600-1200 ante 200. Average stack is 97,368.
You can track some of the players by checking out the Live Updates page. We will post some of the day’s hands, highlights, and ending day chip counts.
