Two days ago the Asian Poker Tour kicked off the APT Philippines 2017 at the Winford Hotel & Casino. Scheduled to run a course of nine days from July 19th-27th, the festival has already seen two players capture side event trophies with well-known local player Emmanuel Segismundo winning the Opening Event and Japanese pro Tetsuya Tsuchikawa claiming the Ante Up for Charity.
Today will be another poker packed day with more players certain to grace the awarding stage. Starting at 1pm, the Main Event Warm Up resumes with the final 10 players out of 40 entrants hunting down that PHP388,000 first place purse. Shortly after, two events will enter the tournament floor starting with the Ladies of Poker at 130 pm followed by the Head Hunter event at 2pm. Here are all the details:
Ladies of Poker
This event is for all the women out there. The Ladies of Poker is an exclusive poker event just for you! For PHP7,700 entry fee, you can be the Queen of the APT Philippines 2017.
Starting stack: 10,000
Opening blinds: 25-50
Blinds duration: increases every 30 minutes
Starting time: 130pm
Head Hunter
The Head Hunter event is one of the most aggressive poker tournaments in the roster, but not because of the structure, simply because there is a bounty prize for every player you eliminate. This incentive gets everyone riled up showing no fear at the felt. The last one standing gets to keep his/her bounty.
Buy-in: PHP22,000
Bounty: PHP5,000
Starting stack: 10,000
Opening blinds: 25-50
Blinds duration: increases every 30 minutes
Starting time: 2pm

Keep in mind that the featured tournament, the PHP110,000 buy-in Main Event will be on center stage tomorrow, Saturday July 22, 2017. For those looking to try and get a seat at a lower cost, we will be having another Main Event Mega Satellite at 6pm tonight. Buy-in is PHP12,000. One seat will be awarded per ten players.
