Today’s Side Events: Head Hunter, Ladies of Poker, and ME Warm-up resumes

Nonstop poker action continues today with several side events headlining the third day of the Asian Poker Tour Kickoff 2017. The ongoing festival began two days ago and is scheduled to run for a total of nine days, from January 11th-19th, at Resorts World Manila.

Champions’ trophies for the third day of APT Kick Off 2017

The first event lined up today is a big crowd favorite, the Head Hunter US$100/Bounty event. This event tends to see aggressive action early with everyone looking to scalp as many heads and pile up the bounties. Players begin with a 10,000 starting stack with round one at 25/50. Blinds go up every 30 minutes. Cards in the air by 1pm.

At 2pm, we have the Ladies of Poker event gracing the floor.  For all the lady card sharks out there, be the first APT queen of the felt this year. Buy-in is US$165.

Still needing a seat to the APT Main Event? At 5pm, you can try your luck for a cheap one at the Main Event Mega Satellite. Buy-in is US$180. To give you more playing time, we have upped the starting stack to 5,000 as compared to the previous 3,000. The US$1,650 buy-in APT Main Event begins this weekend with Day 1A on Saturday, January 14th and Day 1B on Sunday, January 15th. Players who win seats via the satellite will have to use their ticket on Day 1A.
