Samuel Caulier doubles and shoots to the top of the APT Noumea 2016 Main Event 1B Chip Counts

On the last hand of the APT Noumea 2016 Main Event Day 1B, Samuel Caulier tanked facing an all in shove from his opponent on the river. He made the call to table two pairs with his off suit 2? 3? made on the river against the other player’s K? Q? for top pair on the board. Caulier ended the day with 90,675 to lead the 46 players remaining from Day 1B into Day 2 of the APT Noumea Main Event.

There will be no shortage of action at poker tables of the Casinos De Noumea in New Caledonia as the APT Noumea 2016 Main Event moves on to Day 2 with Day 1A Chip Leader Lau Yuen Kwong (110,975) still on top followed by Day 1B Chip Leader Samuel Caulier (90,675). The Main Event field of 80 players will play 8 more levels today unless the bubble bursts within the day.
