There is truly something to smile about at the Land of Smiles with the Asian Poker Tour back at the Queenco Hotel and Casino for the APT Cambodia 2016. Surrounded by the gorgeous beaches of Sihanoukville, the nine-day poker festival takes place from June 15-23, 2016. With a slew of events in store, this is a perfect time and place for poker players to enjoy some fun at the felt and some fun by the sea.
Two years ago, the APT took to the shores of Sihanoukville, Cambodia and has since added this seaside destination to the APT calendar year of events. Enjoying the previous successful runs were Denmark’s Michael Lindstrom and Canada’s Linh Tran, both of them riding high above the horizon to each claim a Main Event title. This year’s Main Event will feature an $1,100 entry fee with unlimited re-entries until the start of the seventh round. Blinds increase every hour and the starting stack is 20,000, which is equivalent to four hundred times the starting big blind.
In addition to the Main Event, the festival will feature a mixed bag of eighteen side events ranging from $110 to $1,650. The No Limit Hold‘em Welcome Event will be the first to take the floor followed by the Ante Up for Charity event in the early evening. The subsequent days will feature Pot Limit Omaha events, Open Face Chinese Pineapple events, and NLH events including varieties such as as the Head Hunter, the 6-Handed Turbo, the Ante Only, the High Rollers event, and several Deep Stack Turbo events.
