The Asian Poker Tour’s much-anticipated return for the APT Asian Series Cambodia 2015 was off to an impressive start as players made their way to the Queenco Casino and Hotel at Victory Beach in Sihanoukville.
Among those seen in the early crowd of players were Samad Razavi and Iori Yogo, the current top two runners in the current 2015 APT Player of the Year standings respectively. In addition, a lot of new faces graced the felts to experience what the APT has to offer.
The nine-day poker festival features a USD 1,100 Main Event along with 17 Side Events – NLH with Rebuys and Add On, No limit Hold’em, Open Face Chinese Pineapple, Head Hunter, Pot Limit Omaha, Deep Stack Turbo, 6 Handed Turbo, Monster Stack and High Rollers formats. With buy ins ranging from USD 110 to USD 2,500, players have a bevy of tournaments to choose from.
“The aim at every return to a venue for APT is to match, if not surpass, the previous event’s (APT Asian Poker Series Cambodia 2014) numbers and player experience. Today’s great start is an indication that we’re on the track,” said APT Manager DJ Coronacion.
The poker action continues Wednesday, October 21st with the No Limit Holdem 1 at 1:00 pm and 18-Max Open Face Chinese Pineapple at 3:00 pm together with satellites to the Main Event. For complete details, view the APT Asian Series Cambodia 2015 Event Info
