APT Announces New Poker Weekend Series

APT Chief Executive Officer Jeff Mann has officially announced the APT Poker Weekend Series Manila, the second major event at the newly opened APT Poker Room Manila at the 2nd Floor Casino Filipino, Waterfront Manila Pavilion in U.N. Avenue corner Ma. Orosa St., Malate, Manila.

The five-day poker festivities is scheduled from June 5th to 9th, 2015 with the highlight Main Event with PHP 27,500 buy-in having two starting days; Day 1A on Saturday (June 6th) and Day 1B on Sunday (June 7th). Day 2 is set on Monday (June 8th) and the Final Table on Tuesday (June 9th). All start times for all Main Event days are at 1:00 PM.

The participants in the APT Poker Weekend Series will also earn APT Player of the Year (POY) points.

There will also be nine side events including High Rollers, Monster Stack and a trio of Deep Stack Turbo events. There will also be satellite tournaments available throughout the event. For more details, visit the Event Schedule page.

The Asian Poker Tour’s newest event is the latest addition to its already hectic calendar. Last February 27th, APT Poker Room Manila successfully kicked off with its first-ever major tournament, the APT Poker Room Inaugural Event which drew 326 entries.
