The APT Philippines 2015 Main Event continues play Monday (April 20th) at 1:00 PM for Day 2 of the highlight tournament of the nine-day poker festivities at the Resorts World Manila (RWM) in Pasay City, Philippines.
Ryan Hong of Australia with 169,550 in chips leads a pack of 123 runners who are still in the running for the title and a champion’s purse of $102,600, the lion’s share of the $409,300 prize pool created by the three starting days total of 211 entries.
Hong has a dominant chip lead entering Monday’s play but other top performers from the Day 1s will also look to build their stack some more as they try to survive Day 2, which plays down to the money or to 27 players.
Completing the top five in chips are Kenneth Khoo (Singapore) with 113,875; Bobby Zhang (Australia) with 108,175; Choong Kon Kim (Korea) with 87,650; and Jason Powers (USA) with 85,550. For complete chip counts entering Day 2, check the Chip Counts page.
