Two more players– Haresh Kukreja of India and Svyatoslav Dvornikov of Russia– joined the early winners in this stop of the Asian Poker Tour (APT) early Thursday in the APT Philippines 2015 at the Resorts World Manila (RWM) in Pasay City, Philippines.
The nine-day poker festival continues play today with two more side events on tap plus the usual satellite tourneys to the main event, which begins play on Friday (April 18th).
Kukreja beat a field of 264 runners in the $50K GTD Opening Event to bring home the trophy and first place prize of $11,980, after a three-way deal, while Dvornikov won the NLH RB+AO event for $6,330.
They joined Manuel Blaschke of Austria and Regie Ann De Los Reyes in the winners circle after the pair bagged the titles in the High Rollers and Ante Up for Charity events, respectively, earlier in the week.
27 players placed ITM while 10 players made the money in the side events yesterday plus the three winners in the High Rollers event. Here are the top finishers for the side events played on Wednesday:

Meanwhile, the four side event champions plus the ITM finishers weren’t the only big winners to come out after two days of play. Claire Ericta, Marketing & Partnerships Head of Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation was awarded the $3,367 donation from the APT on Wednesday to help build a house for a Typhoon Haiyan devastated family.
