Last Chance for the Big One: Day 1B of APT-RWM Poker Finale 2014 Main Event Set Today

From the original 115 entries who entered Day 1A of the APT-RWM Poker Finale 2014 Main Event only 38 have advanced to the next round. Hauling the most stacks are Sam Nee (Malaysia) with 165,500; Mike Takayama (Philippines) with 133,200; Tsuji Yasuyuki (Japan) with 128,800; Chow Mun Fei (Malaysia); and Eric Sia (Philippines) with 97,100.

Day 1B is set Sunday (December 7) and judging by the turn-out in the first few days of the eight-day poker festivities where 343 unique players from 36 nationalities have participated thus far, it appears a huge crowd is expected to come in droves at Resorts World Manila (RWM) in Pasay City, Philippines.

How many more will join the first 38 qualifiers to Day 2 scheduled on Monday? Who will join the chip leaders at the top of the heap? The APT Team is on hand for the main event LIVE UPDATES, make sure you follow the action on the felt starting at 1:00 PM.

Aside from the Main Event, there are also two side events scheduled today.The Mix Game PLH/PLO event with PHP 16,500 buy-in is set at 3:00 PM. For the first time in APT history, there will be a Deuces Wild Turbo side event, which is set at 7:00 PM. For full schedule, check the Event Schedule page.
