148 Players Return for Day 2 of the Main Event; Adam Monaghan Wins the PLO Event

We are back at Resorts World Manila for Day 2 of the Main Event. The cards are already flying and the chips are already shuffling all around the room. A total of 148 players are now battling it out at the felt, each one eager to scoop up as many chips as possible and eliminate as many players as they can in order to qualify into Day 3. We will be playing down to the money of 45 players. Good luck to all!

Adam Monaghan, Pot Limit Omaha Hi Champion

Meanwhile, Adam Monaghan took down the Pot Limit Omaha Hi event that saw 58 players take to the felt. Monaghan faced Tuominen Eemil Ollinpoika at the heads up round and took most of Ollinpoika’s chips with his Pocket Kings defeating Pocket Tens. Not long after, Monaghan scooped up the rest of Ollinpoika’s chips and was awarded P233,800 plus the event trophy.
