By the end of Day 1A of the APT Asian Series Cambodia 2014 Main Event, Asian Poker Tour new-comer Dave Fish had the most chips in the bag amounting to 196,800. Next two players over the hundred thousand chip count are Vietnam’s Hong Hai Tran (155,400) and Richard Mari (105,300) from the United Kingdom ranking second and third respectively.
Also yesterday, the Philippines’ Emman Segismundo moved up to second place in the 2014 APT Player of the Year standings after winning the 49-entry field of the US$ 220 No Limit Hold’em tournament.
So far in 2014, Segismundo has cashed five times in APT tournaments earning him a total of 679.01 POY points. Before winning his first APT championship trophy this year, he finished third in the No Limit Hold’em and fourth in the Heads Up events at APT Asian Series Cebu; third place finish in the MegaSportsWorld Deep Stack Turbo at APT Philippines and eighth place in the APT Asian Series Cambodia 2014’s Head Hunter tournament.
