Non-Stop Action: APT-RWM Iron Man Poker Challenge Begins

The Asian Poker Tour (APT) and the Resorts World Manila (RWM) will surely end the year with a bang with the APT-RWM Iron Man Poker Challenge set to happen starting Wednesday, December 11th with three side events and the one of a kind main event.

The special event, which is the first of its kind in Asia, has a buy-in of US$ 700 and will aim to break the Guinness World Records “Longest Continuous Poker Tournament”.

The current record is at 36 hours, 34 minutes and 41 seconds which was established in Delaware, USA in 2012 in a tournament that ran from August 25th 12 noon to August 27th 12:36 a.m.

The main event of the APT-RWM Iron Man Poker Challenge starts Friday, December 13th but poker enthusiasts are already in for an early holiday treat with the first side event– NLH Re-Buys + 1 Add-On— set Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.

Two more side events are set Thursday, the No Limit Hold ‘Em event and Saturday, the High Rollers Event to complete the festivities this week. Satellite tournaments to the main event are also available starting at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. For details, visit this page.
