In Too Deep: Forty-Five Aim for Final Table Seats

The APT Asian Series Manila 2013 Main Event continues play today with the remaining 45 players all hoping they survive Day 3 and get one of the seats in the 8-handed Final Table.

Jerry Lai of Malaysia had the best run in Day 2 and ended up as the chip-leader with 751,000 going into the penultimate day of the festivities at the Genting Club in Resorts World Manila.

However, the Malaysian will surely be challenged by the rest of the field including Victorino Torres  (592,000) of Northern Mariana Islands; Lester Edoc (553,000), Czardy Rivera (391,000) both from the Philippines and Day 1A chip-leader Craig Sloan (382,000) from Australia.

Mark Rivera  (Philippines), Arnold Bathan (Australia), Joven Huerto (Philippines), Haresh Kekreja (India) and Mike Takayama (Philippines) complete the top 10 players entering today’s play starting at 1 p.m.
