APT Asian Series Cebu 2013 continued yesterday in Day 1B of the Main Event that saw Edwin Marzan from the Philippines haul in the most chips with 137,700. He joins Timofei Levanov from Russia and Stuart Brodie from South Africa as the big-stack and chip leaders going into Day 2.

In the side events, Garreth Jones from the United Kingdom grabbed the Freezout title even as Mark Pagsuyin won in the Deep Stack Turbo event. For their efforts, Jones took home PHP 95,300 and Pagsuyuin 61,900 for their first-place finish. Pagsuyuin actually finished in the money (4th) in the freezeout event as well to get over 100K earnings for the day.
