Russia’s Timofei Levanov with 174,500 in chips is at the top of the field of 19 players left by the end of the APT Asian Series Cebu 2013 Main Event Day 1A. Also breaking the hundred thousand mark are South African Stuart Brodie (145,600) and APT Asian Series Manila 2012 Main Event Champion Jav Medina (115,600).

Malaysian Beatty Grabs Omaha Title

Malaysia’s Harry Beatty took down the Megasportsworld Pot Limit Omaha Hi title beating 37 other players in the APT event with a PHP 8,000 buy-in.

For his efforts, he earned PHP 96,200 leading the way for other winners like Korea’s Choi Byung Kyoo who settled for 2nd place. Completing the ITM list are Joey Barbas (Philippines) at 3rd, Richard Sharpe (United States) at 4th and Darshan Sami at 5th.
