The Asian Poker Tour has kicked of 2013 with it’s first stop of the year with its third return to the Philippines Queen City of the South – Cebu. The APT Asian Series Cebu features a PHP 50,000 Main Event with 6 Satellites and fourteen Side Events spread across an eight-day schedule from January 23rd to the 30th.
During the opening ceremony, APT Tournament Manager Jason Morris highlighted on what players can expect from this year’s APT like the eight day event schedule and the 20,000 starting stack with an additional Day 3 for the Main Event.
Already spotted in the field of players are 2012 APT Player of the Year Sam Razavi, who has been very vocal that he wants to retain his title this year, while APT Asian Series Manila 2012 Main Event Champion Jav Medina has already won a seat to the Main Event via one of the opening day’s satellites in his campaign for another APT title. Familiar faces in the APT are also on their way together with a host of new ones aiming to be the next APT Champion.
