France’s Adrien Allain made his first live-event cash when he took down the 2009 Asian Poker Tour Macau Main Event Champion title. Allain came out on top and took home the top prize of HK$3,035,000 ($391,556 USD) with 326 participants fighting out over the championship.
One thing that makes Allain’s victory exciting is that he actually qualified for the US$4,438 buy-in tournament via a $5 online satellite on. “I’m overwhelmed, this is so wonderful. I qualified for this tournament through a $5 lottery tournament on PKR and end up beating all these top players. Vive La France!the young Frenchman said.
He is known by many in the world of online poker as ‘zlatan35’ before he joined APT Macau in 2009. The Asian Poker Tour is looking forward to welcome Allain back on the felt this 19th-26th of August at Ti Vegas Casino, Grand Bay for the APT Asian Series Mauritius 2012.
