China’s Li You Nan surged into the Asian poker spotlight in 2010 with two APT Main Event final table appearances in a row. The first was at APT Philippines and was consequently his biggest tournament cash to date that saw him collect USD $27,500 for a fifth place finish. During the same tournament, Li took out an APT side event title and then followed up those amazing results just a few months later with a five-figure score at APT Macau’s Main Event, finishing in eighth place. 2011 marked a brief hiatus from the money board for Li but, with two small cashes at APT Asian Series Cebu, we’re hoping to see more of Li in upcoming APT events this year.
APT Macau is the next tournament on the 2012 schedule and will be held on July 25-31 at StarWorld Hotel & Casino, Macau. For more information about APT Macau 2012, go to www.TheAsianPokerTour.com.
