Enrique Del prado, Jr.

Enrique del Prado Jr. reigned champion at last year’s APT Philippines Main Event, surpassing 231 players in a five-day tournament and bagging winnings amounting to US$ 179,260. He was the third local player in a row to win the coveted title.

Del Prado started at 4th place at last year’s final table, but eventually rose to the top eliminating player after player. He confused the other players with his frequent snap-calls, which proved to be very effective.

This year, he, once again, survived the cut as he makes his way to the Day 2 of APT Philippines 2012 Main Event which begins today. Del Prado is looking to be a back-to-back APT champion. In the next two days, we will all find out if this is indeed fated to happen.
