Now that you are registered as an APT player, you now have full access to get into your first tournament of choice. We are now going to lead you into a few simple steps on how to enter your first tournament:
Step #1: Check schedule of events and refer to our previous APT tip #3 in choosing your first tournament wisely.
Step #2: Paying for your tournament buy-in, depending on which venue we are hosting the APT week the cashier is usually located right beside registration. Hand the cashier your money and the receipt that the APT staff gave you.
Step #3: Now that you have paid for your buy-in, you will be handed a bi-copy receipt. The 1st copy of the receipt will give you the right to draw for your table & seating assignment and the 2nd copy is for your personal records.
Step #4: Make your way over to the tournament area to draw your table and seat number, which usually happens 15 minutes before a Side Event or Satellite starts and 40minutes before the Main Event starts. The 1st copy of your receipt will be surrendered to the tournament manager in charge of drawing of table and seating assignments.
Step #5: Draw your seat card, make your way to your assigned tournament table. Have the tournament dealer in the box verify if you are at the right table and seat.
Now that you are at your table the fun and excitement is about to start!
