PASAY CITY, Philippines – The riveting finale of the Asian Poker Tour (APT) 2022 Philippines (Event #1) Mystery Bounty plays out today (November 16th) with almost PhP4.4M (US$76,233) in the total prize pool after 301 entries were tallied yesterday making for an exhilirating climax to the opening tiff at the Grand Wing Casino, Newport World Resorts here.
The remaining 77 players now battle to be among the 31 who make it to ITM and be guaranteed at least PhP19,400 (US$338) in this PhP16,500 (US$287.00) buy-in event.
Once in ITM, they will seek to gain eliminations with every successful scalp drawing a sealed envelope. Only then will they know how much they get in terms of the bounty amount. With over PhP1.5M (US$26,207) in Mystery Bounties in the pool, participants hope to snare one of the three bounties worth PhP259,000 (US$4,509).
The winner of this event receives PhP666,300 (US$11,599).
The Mystery Bounty finale starts at 1:00PM (UCT+8).
Enrico de Rosa of Italy was the overnight chip-leader with 328,000 in holdings, well ahead of Kazakhstan’s Daniyar Aubakirov (238,000) and Filipino Christopher Pasion (206,000).
Meanwhile, the opening day of the two-day (Event #3) PhP215,000 (US$3,757) Super High-Rollers is sure to steal some of the Mystery Bounty thunder at 2:00PM while (Event #4) the Professional Offline Poker League (POPL) Head-Hunters tilt also begins Day 1 of its hostilities at 3:00PM.
The Super-Satellite for Day 1A of the Main Event also happens at 6:00PM where for a buy-in of only PhP11,500 (US$200), there will be one seat guaranteed for every five registrant.
Day 2 will be capped off by (Event #5) the second of six Hyper Deep Stack Turbo tourneys at 10:00PM.
