Day 2 ends with 21 players remaining; Jinho Hong bags the chip lead

Chen An Lin rails one before the day ends

Level: 16 Blinds: 3000-6000 Ante: 6000

During one of the last hands called, Chen An Lin added another 140k to his stack by railing a player. Lin had pocket kings that held against A-Q. Lin closed the day with around 519k.


David Tai takes the risk and wins

Level: 16 Blinds: 3000-6000 Ante: 6000

Cutoff David Tai raised, sb Eric Tsai pushed all in, Tai risked it with K 10. Tai had 8 8. A king showed up on the turn for a double up to Tai to 290k. Tsai slipped to 570k.


Yi Wei Peng pays Craig Edwards double up

Level: 16 Blinds: 3000-6000 Ante: 6000

Short stacked Craig Edwards was all in with 9 9 and faced Yi Wei Peng with A K. The board ran 9 5 2 K Q for a double up to Edwards.


Chi Jen Chu goes back up

Level: 16 Blinds: 3000-6000 Ante: 6000

A player raised to 13k, Chi Jen Chu three-bet to 46k, initial raiser called. On the flop 4[6d} J, action was checked to Chu who c-bet 46k and was called. On the turn J, both checked and the river came 2. Checked again to Chu who bet 46k and was called. Chu showed K K and won the pot. He is up to 440k.


JC Sayo check-raises Chu

Level: 16 Blinds: 3000-6000 Ante: 6000

With 105k in the pot, mp Chi Jen Chu bet 60k, bb JC Sayo check-raised to 150k, Chu folded. Sayo went up to 435k, Chu slipped to 286k.


En Ching Wu cracks kings to stay alive

Level: 16 Blinds: 3000-6000 Ante: 6000

En Ching Wu all in with J 10 called by Tommy Goh with K K. The board fell 4 7 4 2 A for a flush to Wu avoid elimination. Wu up to 280k, Goh slipped to 430k.


Three-way again sends Goh to 560k

Level: 16 Blinds: 3000-6000 Ante: 6000

Tommy Goh is back up with a big stack after scoring a three-way that booted Jin Hyo Yoo in the process.

Three-way sends Chia Yun Wu out; Jinho Hong up to 640k

Level: 16 Blinds: 3000-6000 Ante: 6000

Next to bump the rail was Chia Yun Wu. He started the final level with a lucky double up through En Ching Wu but still couldn’t hold it. He was all in with A 7, Lim Chee Seng also all in with K 9, Jinho Hong hoping to ship it all with 6 6. The board ran K J 2 4 8. Lim tripled up his short stack, Hong won the side pot. Hong up to 640k.
