Akshay “powershell” Asawa outdrawn, takes 3rd place ₹ 5.48L (~US$ 7,490)

Backed by 2/3 of the chips in play, Manish “thekid” Lakhotia went on a shoving spree and finally got a caller in Akshay “powershell” Asawa. Lakhotia had K 3, Asawa with A Q, the board ran low with a three spiking the river 5 8 8 7 3 to oust Asawa in 3rd place.


Dhaval “Rehab77” Mudgal railed in 4th place – ₹ 4.06L (~US$ 5,550)

Next on Manish “thekid” Lakhotia’s hit list was Dhaval “Rehab77” Mudgal shoved on the button with 2 2, called by sb Lakhotia with 8 A. The board ran well for Mudgal until the river 4 J 3 7 8 for a higher pair to the leader and all of Mudgal’s chips.


Akshay “sherlock52” Nasa exits in 5th place – ₹ 3.05L (~US$ 4,170)

The grueling five handed round finally ended with Manish “thekid” Lakhotia delivering the boot to Akshay “sherlock52” Nasa. It was all in preflop with Lakhotia three-bet jamming on initial raiser Nasa who then called.

The board ran 8 7 7 K 9 for a crushing full house to Lakhotia. Lakhotia now has over half the chips in play.


Dhaval “Rehab77” Mudgal gets max pay with aces

Level: 43 Blinds: 24K-48K Ante: 6K

Dhaval “Rehab77” Mudgal was the next to scoop up a double up on a cooler against Shardul “duuurrrr” Parthasarathi. It was pocket aces over pocket kings. Mudgal’s aces further improved to a full house.

First double up of five handed went to Akshay “sherlock52” Nasa off the leader Manish “thekid” Lakhotia. Preflop action opened with Nasa and sb Dhaval “Rehab77” Mudgal calling, Lakhotia jammed from the big blind, only Nasa called for all his chips.
